Responsive web design is the combination of design and development matching up and responding to the user’s next move, making sure that the website and its design elements change and adjust to the device’s screen size and its orientation (either portrait or landscape). To create a responsive web design, you must have a bit of flexible layouts, graphics, and good use of CSS media queries. This means that when a user switches devices such as going from a computer setting to their mobile device, the website and all of its graphics should automatically change to fit the screen and provide the necessary resolution to give the best user experience. A true responsive web design is one that adjusts and adapts to the user’s preferences.
